Karyn Robson

Karyn Robson reading tutor

For over 20 years I have taught children ages 3-12 in private schools in the Northern Virginia/National Capital Region, and abroad in Tokyo and Berlin. I have experience working with both the gifted population and students with special needs. As the mother of a dyslexic student, I am passionate about offering appropriate intervention, remediation, and accommodations for students with dyslexia. Having lived in areas that were underserved by specialist English speaking teachers for both gifted and dyslexic students, I am also excited to be able to help people through distance learning techniques. I really enjoy the advantages of teaching in a one-to-one setting (either in person or remotely), and I feel that my patience, sense of humor, diligence, and pedagogical knowledge makes me a great tutor. I am eagerly looking forward to working with your children.
